Coaching Staff

Get to know the dedicated coaches and passionate staff behind NCE. We come from all walks of life and are united in our passion for competition, sportsmanship and community service. We are fortunate to be working with some of the best in the industry.

Our coaches have all passed background checks and are certified through USA Cheer, the National Center for Sports Safety, CDC Heads Up Concussion program, and The Open Coach Training.

Director & Head Coach

Coach Melissa

Coach Melissa has been with the program since its beginning in 2012. She was the driving force of making the switch from Pop Warner to Rec to All Star. Coach Melissa was a member of Varsity Spirit's Rec Coaches Council where she represented rec programs across the country. Only 15 coaches in the US were selected for this council. She is the former head coach for Alexandria Central's Varsity cheer team & LaFargeville Central's Varsity cheer team and led ACS’s team to a Frontier League Sportsmanship Award. Coach Melissa is also a certified New York State Cheerleading Judge for high school cheer and a certified YCADA Cheerleading Judge.

Assistant Director & Head Coach

Coach Staci

Coach Staci is back as a coach with our program and has been promoted to Assistant Director and is our program EMT. In the past, Coach Staci has coached for NNY Cheer and Tumble and has taught gymnastics and tumbling. She is currently a NYS certified judge for high school cheer and a certified YCADA cheerleading judge.

Head Coach

Coach Jayden

Coach Jayden started off as an athlete and cheered for the Stallions from 2012 to 2023. She has won many National titles with our program. Jayden is a current college student at SUNY Potsdam in her Master's program and the Literacy specialist at Hammond Central School. She is a 2-time Cheerleading Frontier League All-Star. Jayden cheered for both Alexandria Central and LaFargeville Central while in high school along with a season of All Star for NNY Cheer & Tumble. Coach Jayden is currently a certified YCADA Cheerleading Judge.

Head Coach

Coach Jennifer

Coach Jennifer is back with the Stallions and is no stranger to cheer. She is the former 28-year head coach of Copenhagen Varsity Cheer, former coach for the Red & Black cheerleaders, former owner and Head Coach of Galaxy All-Stars, 20+ years as a Competitive Cheer Judge, Section III & NYS Coach of the Year and 12-time Frontier League Coach of the Year.

Head Tumbling Instructor

Coach Becky

Coach Becky is our head tumbling instructor. She is the owner and operator of Fluidity Gymnastics Studio and is the reason the majority of our team can tumble. She has taught our cheer coaches how to instruct tumbling as well. Coach Becky is a former gymnastics instructor at Joanne's Northern Lights Dance Company. Coach Becky has begun choreographing all our tumbling sections for our competition routines and has picked up on the fundamentals of all aspects of cheer in her time with us. Coach Becky focuses on technique, not just "getting over" which contributes to our success.

Coach Emma

Coach Emma has returned to coach for NCE this season! She cheered in high school for Copenhagen Central School earning multiple Frontier League Championships along with Sectional titles. and has cheered for all star. Emma has won the Frontier League All Star Award multiple times

Coach Jenn

This is Coach Jenn's second year coaching with NCE but she's no stranger to cheer as her daughter's have been with us for yeas. Jenn has worked with children for multiple years and is a current head start master teacher of 3-5 year olds. Her no-nonsense but loveable coaching style has all the kids loving her and she has been a valuable asset to our hip hop teams.

Coach Alyssa

Coach Alyssa is hands down our most patient coach at NCE. She works in the special education department at Alexandria Central School and specialized in children with special needs. She has coached with us for two years now and continues to learn and grow each year.

Coach Aurelia

Coach Aurelia is in her second year as a cheer coach. When she came to us she had zero knowledge in cheer other than her best friend (Coach Jayden) having been a cheerleader. Over the last two seasons, Coach Aurelia has grown tremendously! She is constantly asking questions, learning new things and has built strong relationships with our athletes. This season she began choreographing small bits of the routine and we can't wait to see what she does next!

Coach Ari

Coach Ari began her time at NCE as a cheerleader, then moved into a junior coaching position. She currently cheers on our Senior level team, coaches our youth team and is attending college at SUNY Canton. Coach Ari's passion for cheer has made her a strong assett to our coaching staff.

Coach Siera

Coach Siera is new to NCE this season but has many years of cheer experience. She was a varsity cheerleader for Thousand Islands Central her entire high school years. She jumped in with both feet, agreeing to coach on two teams her first year here and we are forever grateful for that!

Coach Victoria

Coach Victoria just started coaching with us this season after being a cheer mom for many years. She took on the task of coaching our mini team and has spent countless hours taking training courses and asking questions. She is determined to learn all she can and be the best coach possible!

Coach Abby

This is the first year Coach Abby has been on staff but she has traveled with NCE for many years as a fan and supporter. Coach Abby cheered in high school and she has taken on the important role of music player at competitions.

Board Members

Our program is run by a group of volunteer board members who work tirelessly to provide our athletes and their families with the best, most cost-effective All Star cheer and dance program in our area. All of our board members have passed background checks.
